Product CSV Conversion Instructions

Welcome to EasyCSV! This guide will help you convert your product CSV files from various eCommerce platforms into a compatible format. Please follow the steps below to ensure a smooth conversion proce

Step 1: Download Your CSV File

1. Log in to your eCommerce platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, etc.).

2. Navigate to the products section of your dashboard.

3. Find the option to export or download your product data as a CSV file.

4. Save the CSV file to your computer.

Step 2: Prepare Your CSV File

For Shopify Users

• Shopify files can be uploaded directly to EasyCSV without any additional changes.

For Other Platforms

Note : The following 7 fields are required. Any values missing from any row and the CSV file will not upload. Please check that all rows are filled. All additional headers can be left empty but must not be removed.

• Make the following changes to your CSV file headers to ensure compatibility:

  • Product Name: Change to "Title"

  • Product Description: Change to "Body (HTML)"

  • Product Category: Change to "Product Category"

  • Product Keywords: Change to "Tags"

  • Product Price: Change to "Variant Price"

  • Image URL: Change to "Image Src"

  • Product Status: Change to "Status" (Use "active" or "inactive")

Keep Track of Inventory: (Not Required) Change unique Product ID header to "Handle" and inventory value fields to "Inventory". Adding these extra two headers will help keep track of inventory.

Step 3: Upload Your CSV File

1. Click the link below to import your CSV file.

Step 4: Review Conversion Results

• After uploading, EasyCSV will process your file.

• You will receive an email with the results of the conversion, including any errors that need addressing. You will receive some errors but disregard. The formatting should still upload.
